Over the last two decades, Karina McIndoe has lent her creative skills to some of Australia's well-known labels. After graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design at East Sydney, Karina started her career working for Australian brands before launching her own label, distributing to independent boutiques Australia-wide. Her experience working for both brands and owning her own label means Karina is well-versed in all areas of the fashion industry, from designing collections to wholesale, manufacturing locally and offshore, retail, and marketing. Karina has always designed custom prints in-house as part of her role as a fashion designer. These prints have been used in fashion brands spanning Bridal, Resort RTW, Swim, and Activewear labels. Her love for this has led her to open her own design studio. Karina designs a wide range of different style prints, drawing inspiration from past travels, vintage influences, and current catwalk trends. A lifetime by the ocean has influenced her design aesthetics, with a love for laid-back luxury that comes from her passion for the design world and coastal lifestyle.
